FAQ

Before buying, understand the leaf, vessel, and natural variation.

Questions before buying

Firing a real leaf into porcelain is not the same as printing a pattern. We confirm the leaf, vessel form, use case, and delivery context before production.

Which leaves can I choose?

Choose from the atelier leaf library first: ginkgo, maple, fern, eucalyptus, olive, and oak. Availability can change by vessel form because each leaf behaves differently in firing.

Will the finished piece look exactly like the sample?

No. Vein transfer, glaze depth, and kiln atmosphere create subtle differences. We guide the overall direction, but the value of the piece comes partly from its natural variation.

Is it only decorative, or can it be used?

Many pieces can be used for tea, sake, tabletop ritual, or display. Care guidance depends on the vessel form and glaze plan and will be confirmed before delivery.

How long does a commission take?

Most single pieces leave the studio in 14-21 days after checkout. Larger gift runs or special packaging can take longer, and we confirm timing by email.

Can you make corporate or wedding quantity orders?

Yes. Corporate and wedding projects can be planned as one leaf species across multiple vessel forms, with provenance cards, message cards, and display packaging.
